Reading the story, "Night" by Elie Wiesel has influenced me to write about the holocaust. It's really upsetting that some of Gods creations could do something so evil. I've been thinking about some things while reading this book. I wonder if anyone ever felt bad about doing what they did, or if they ever tried to stop it. I get that Hitler had persuaded them to do that but if they really didn't want to they could have all went against Hitler instead of going along with his plan, how could people who prayed everyday and went to church do something so evil? I know that just because they did all that doesn't make them nice but I just don't understand how they could do that to another human being let alone millions of them. They dehumanized them and treated the Jews like they weren't worthy enough to live when everyone has an equal amount of worth and everyone deserves to live, be happy and live their life how they want to. It shouldn't matter what religion someone believes in, a person is a person.
